Craig Oliver Interviews Lawrence Gunther on Challenges in Change

Two women engaged in a television interview on a vibrant studio set.

Craig Oliver has been working in television for more years than people can count. His interview style and ability to connect with his guests is legendary.

Craig asked me to come on his show for a 23-minute interview as he recognized my story was unique. Different in that I don’t represent a person who has found a way to render my being blind inconsequential, or that I dedicate my life to helping other folks who are living with vision loss.

I work hard to turn my lack of sight into an asset by focusing on how I can use my other senses to perceive the underwater world hidden from everyone, sighted or not. I’ve made my inability to see an asset.
